That’s the West End of London, of course. I guess every city has a ‘west end’, but only London has ‘the West End’. It’s not just a geographical designation, it’s a world famous centre of entertainment. It’s a place that I had wanted to visit for as long as I could remember, but, somehow, had never managed to find both the time and money together. Finally, the chance arose, and, with nothing stopping me from making the four hundred mile rail trip from Glasgow, I set off.

The train journey, with the usual over-priced refreshments, was comfortable enough. What I found most useful was the on-board WiFi service. I was going to be in London for a couple of days, so I figured it might be a good idea to check out hotels online. I had heard good reports about Covent Garden, and it was on my ‘places to visit’ list, so, armed with my Internet-connected laptop, a hotel near Covent Garden was what I started searching for.

My search returned countless hotels. Some, like the Waldorf Hilton, were super-expensive luxury hotels, but I was pleased to see no shortage of hotels that cater to normal people too, meaning those of us who aren’t royalty, superstars or billionaires. I marked off a few, and made a mental note to check out the Travelodge on my arrival.

Finally, with evening approaching, we pulled into London’s Euston Station, I had arrived. Like a seasoned pro, I found the tube station, and made my way to Covent Garden. It was in full swing, and buzzing with the energy and atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. I stood watching, mesmerised, before remembering that I needed to find a hotel. It was no problem. With my online-sourced information and street map, I soon found a suitable hotel near Covent Garden. The Travelodge in Drury Lane, with rooms from around £52, was perfect for my needs.

With accommodation sorted, I wasted no time launching myself into the dazzling, vibrant West End scene. Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Theatreland, Soho and other names that had always conjured up fascinating scenes in my mind turned out to be bigger, bolder, brighter and more exciting than even my overworked imagination had prepared me for. It was the start of a love affair with London’s West End that, I’m sure, will continue to develop over the coming years.

In the Fall, Canadians love to visit New York and Boston. The weather is warmer than Montreal or Toronto’s crisp autumns and the balmy fall weather in New York and New England offer warmth with glamour at a budget price.

Boston’s Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill and Back Bay neighborhoods are full of Quebecers, Ontarians and Canadians from the Maritimes during the long weekends that Canada and the U.S. share, such as Labor Day, Columbus Day (Canadian Thanksgiving) or many holidays during the summer.

New York’s Times Square, Empire State Building, Theatre District, Wall Street, Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art are draws for Canadians during an easy trip to Manhattan. Christmas is also an ideal and popular time for Canadians to travel to New York, which is considerably father south.

In the Winter, Canadians naturally prefer to sojourn to the warmer climes, which could include Miami and the Florida Keys, or Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico’s 80- and 90-degree Fahrenheit January temperatures make this destination a highly popular place for any traveler. The food is a combination of Spanish and Americcan, the language is English and the currency is the American dollar, making life very easy for Canadians travelling to an exotic destination.

Cuba is a highly popular destination for Canadians, who’ve long reveled in its unique culture and ease of access for Canadians.

Like their U.S. neighbors, Canadians love to bask in the beaches, culture and cuisine of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, such as the resorts of Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Coba, Chitzen Itza or to Los Cabos, along the Baja peninsula. Canadians love to bask in the gorgeous, hot climate of Mexico’s famous resort towns.

Residents in the Western provinces of British Columbia and Alberta are more likely to travel nearly due south to Los Cabos and Canadians on the Eastern coast or Ontario or the mid-provinces are more likely to travel due south to the Yucatan peninsula.

Puerto Vallerta and Nuevo Vallerta are quickly growing in popularity as Canadian travel destinations. When travelling to these types of places, it is better to take credit cards or travellers cheques rather than cash, as there is the risk of pick pockets and thieves.

The Dominican Republic and various cruises to and around the Caribbean are also popular travel destinations for Canadians.

The island of Ko Samui is one of the most popular in Thailand, bringing in thousands of visitors each year from around the world. Although many visitors are attracted simply to the stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife on the island, many more are fascinated by the local culture and cuisine. Although there is no shortage of things to do and see while in Ko Samui, be sure to include the following ten items on your itinerary while relaxing in comfortable Thailand accommodation.

1. Rent a Motorbike: Although many visitors choose to get around by foot or car while on Ko Samui, it can be much more adventurous to rent a motorbike to tour the island, a common way to get around for locals and visitors alike.

2. Relax on Chaweng Beach: On the East Coast of the island is Chaweng Beach, easily the most popular beach destination on Ko Samui. This is also the place where the greatest amount of Thailand accommodation is concentrated.

3. See Big Buddha: There are several historical landmarks worth a visit on Ko Samui, but the most interesting is the Big Buddha statue found in the traditional village of Bang Rak.

4. Do Scuba Diving: With dozens of different companies offering scuba lessons and dive tours, this is the ideal place to learn or improve on your skills. Seek out a licensed PADI instructor in order to ensure the company you choose is safe and reputable, or ask your hotel which companies come recommended or offer discounts to guests.

5. Namtok Na Mueang: There are hundreds of smaller waterfalls on the island of Ko Samui, but the ones at Namtok Na Mueang are without a doubt the most impressive. A short hike is necessary to bring visitors to the largest of the two falls, which measure in at over 150 feet in height.

6. Wat Khunaram Ko Samui: Thailand is known for its large amount of temples, and Ko Samui is no exception. Wat Khunaram Ko Samui is the oldest and most popular on the island, boasting a mummified monk who is on display behind glass.

7. Animal Shows: Near Bophut Beach there is an arena where regular animal performance are shown, featuring monkeys as well as elephants. Children and adults alike will enjoy this fun show.

8. Dine on Traditional Cuisine: Thailand boasts a unique and flavorful local cuisine, so be sure to try some of the delicious entrees on one of the main beachfront restaurants. Local seafood is especially popular on the island.

9. Visit a Rum Distillery: For a truly unique activity, head to the local rum distillery on the Southern coast of Ko Samui. Watch how sugar cane is turned into local Thai rum and samples the various flavors yourself at the distillery’s fun bar.

10. Samui Aquarium: This is a great place to learn more about the marine life in Thailand and to see turtles and fish up close. Not only is it educational but quite exciting, especially if you visit during the feeding times for the fish each day.

Most us like the feeling of having secured a serious bargain and when it comes to holidays the sense of satisfaction can last for an agreeably long time indeed. If you play your cards right this year you could find yourself the perfect getaway for a price much lower than you might have been expecting. And there are deals available for families of all sizes and great places to visit regardless of what parts of the world or activities you particularly enjoy while soaking up the sun.

Booking early gives you a good chance of securing a thoroughly reasonable deal to stay at accommodation which meets you needs precisely. On the other hand of course you could opt to hold your nerve a little longer and book a last minute deal. You might have a little less choice when it comes to your destination if you book last minute but there are some notably cheap holidays offered on short notice every year. And the truth is that you might not be too concerned with precisely where you are if all you’re after is some guaranteed sunshine, tempting beaches and a poolside equipped with enough parasols.

There is a long list of really great holiday resorts dotted around the Mediterranean and elsewhere. Classics like Cyprus, Menorca and the Spanish Rivera keep British holidaymakers coming back in their tens of thousands as the promise of a week or so of pure luxury and enjoyment proves too much to resist. The best and cheapest deals tend to be offered online these days so you’ll want to do your homework to find out where the bargains are before booking. One option well worth considering, particularly as a family concerned about seeing costs spiral out of control is to go all inclusive. Not needing to worry at all about spending your hard earned cash on food, drinks or resort activities as you soak up the sun can certainly help ensure you leave your financial stresses firmly behind you for a while at least.

And the chance to get away for a time with the family in somewhere designed quite simply with your enjoyment and fulfilment in mind makes holiday time some of the best experiences you’re likely to have all year. All the better then if you can secure a deal on the kind of trip you’ve been dreaming of. In this context it could be the right time to book yourself a cruise holiday. Whether you’re a newcomer to the phenomena or your a serious and seasoned cruise lover there is so much to take in and experience that you are all but guaranteed to have a spectacularly wonderful time. There are a huge range of cruise holidays to choose from and you can find some superb offers online with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Thailand is one of the most famous travel destinations in all of Asia. In the event that you desire to visit this picturesque country, there are daily flights to Bangkok. In addition, there are many air carriers that provide flights to Bangkok at a very affordable amount.

Here is a list of the top five tourist attractions in Thailand:

1. Chiang Mai Night Bazaar – It is one of the best and most popular tourist attractions in Thailand. Both locals and foreigners prefer to shop at the night bazaar instead of going to shopping malls since they can purchase various inexpensive products such as clothes, handicrafts and artworks just to name a few.

2. Similan Islands- Located in the western Andaman Sea, this is where you should go if you are looking for the best dive destination in Thailand. It is made up of nine islands with scenic beaches and jungles. It is certain that you will love Similan Islands because once you go under the water, the views will surely take your breath away.

3. Ko Tarutao – There are 51 islands that make up the Tarutao National Marine Park located in southern Thailand, and Ko Tarutao is one of them. Tarutao is famous among tourists because it is filled with wildlife such as whales, sea turtles and mouse deer among others. Although the water is too cloudy for diving, the beautiful beaches and incredible views more than make up for it.

4. Ko Chang – It is the second biggest island in Thailand. Since it has beautiful white sandy beaches, breathtaking waterfalls and rain forests, it is considered as one of the most astonishing islands in Thailand. In addition, you will be able to see various wildlife such as elephants and snakes should you decide to go to this island.

5. Dusit Zoo in Bangkok – If you want to get away from all the commotions of the city, the Dusit Zoo in Bangkok is the best place where you should go. Since there are many Thai families who go to the Dusit Zoo during weekends, it is best if you go there early.

Phuket, Thailand, is popular with tourists who are looking for a casual, laid-back vacation that is filled with days lounging on the beach. Azure blue ocean with waves lapping on white sand beaches – it doesn’t get much better or prettier than this.

But Phuket has a lot more to offer than just miles of beaches. The island in southern Thailand faces the Andaman Sea to the west, but is connected by a bridge to the mainland at the northern end of the island.

Phuket has a rich history, and while activities center around tourism today, a few centuries ago, it was an important trading center. Because one side was protected from ocean storms, ships would wait for monsoons to pass by, and trade between several countries, such as China, India, Persia and Arabia soon developed.

Travelers can explore this history by visiting several landmarks, including Wat Phranang Sang, an old temple that was used as a Burmese military camp in 1785. The temple also is important to the Buddhist religion as it contains three of the oldest and largest images of Buddha. The temple is located 20 kilometers from the town of Phuket.

Travelers who want to soak up Thai culture as well as the sun’s rays will enjoy a visit to a village three kilometers from the city where entertainment includes traditional Thai dancing and boxing, demonstrations of Thai handicrafts and elephant shows. Flower lovers can ooh and aah over blooms at the orchid farm located in the village. The Phuket Zoo also features elephant and crocodile shows every day.

Or visitors can spend time exploring Sirinat National Park with its hiking paths, swimming beaches, mangrove forest and wide variety of tropical insects and birds. A more in-depth look at local sea life can be found at the Phuket Aquarium at the southern end of the island, or visit the Phuket Butterfly Farm for a look at these delicate creatures.

Phuket accommodation come in all price ranges and styles, so many in fact that Phuket veterans recommend picking out which beach or attraction you want to visit, and then looking for accommodations close by. Phuket accommodation; options include luxury and budget hotels, secluded villas and family-friendly resorts with plenty of activities for the kids to take in.

Must You Get The Services Of A Nice City Airport Car Hire Company?

Nice city airport car hire option is spread over the whole city of Nice, France. But you need to book a reservation in advance since it could be risky when you arrive at a Nice City airport car hire and no car is available for you. That could be a real disaster to a well planned vacation. Nice is a popular tourist city spot and the availment of a car type that you want can be a challenge.

Most Nice City airport car hire services offer competitive, discounted prices to attract more clients. They offer bookings online for convenient and easy reservations, free airport fees, unlimited mileage. This allows you to roam anywhere you choose in the city and the whole of France itself. The car hire provider has professional driver services as an assurance that a tourist is in safe hands in his travel around the city, and a choice of car types ensuring that what you are hiring is tailored to your specific needs. Whatever car type you use, make sure it has lots of trunk space to stow away your gears. The city’s twisty, coastal road also would require a bigger engine to pass other cars on the road. Booking a car with a climate control or an air conditioning is highly recommended option. Whatever you require on your rented car, be it a family van or a hot Ferrari, you can find it in the numerous airport car hire services within the city of Nice.

Partners of Nice City Airport Car Hire

Nice City airport car hire partners have offices in the city itself to take care of customer needs as fast as possible. Most notable among these are Europcar, Alamo and Budget. Europcar offers reduced renter’s liability in case of accident to help the tourist in paying damager cost. Some also have third party coverage, which provides accident insurance to the occupants of the car, unlimited mileage, accidental damage to property and one-way rentals among others. The VAT for a Nice City airport car hire partner is 19.6 percent.

Alamo car hire providers, which has an office at one of the terminal airports, offers pretty much the same terms, conditions and so are the rates. Another Nice City airport car hire partner has a meet-late arrival offer, which is on a request basis. When a flight arrives 30 minutes after agreed time its provider charges additional 50 pounds, including tax. Another advantage of Nice car hire service provider is a Ground Positioning Satellite locator or GPS, which is offered on a request basis for a fee of ten euros per day. Baby seats are not included for all of the cars so if you have a baby, an additional charge is needed to avail baby seats. The cancellation and refund option is available for all the partners but it will take a certain percentage of your payment depending on the number of days they received your notice. A certain amount of deposit is also needed at the time of confirmation to ensure your vehicle is reserved.

Location of Nice City Car Hire

The airport of the Nice City is a four-hour drive from the city itself. It is therefore very convenient if you could find a Nice City airport car hire company within the airport itself. It is nice to know that most of them are indeed within the airport periphery. With the French Riviera expecting you, you could not afford to be delayed. Another great thing about the city airport is its close proximity to Monaco. This close proximity made the Nice City Côte d’Azur Airport the international airport of Monaco. From the airport you could also reach Italy easily. Following the auto route A8, RN98, or RN7 will take you to Cannes and Antibes. Digne and Grenoble on the other hand can be reached through RN202.
Getting the services of a Nice City airport car hire vehicle should always come with a driver. Why? Because driving and parking a car in Nice is very difficult and would require one who is familiar with the city. Driving yourself in an unfamiliar city coupled with parking problems can ruin your vacation. Although taxi and bus offers an option they only go along a predetermined route and is not advisable for a tourist who must go on unfamiliar locations if he must see the beauty and diversity of the city. It’s always better to have a Nice City airport car hire vehicle that you could command to go anywhere you please not only within the whole of France but also the neighboring countries.

I am die heart fans of football match and never miss any game on TV and if get chance to watch live do go to the football stadium and watch. This time the foot ball mach was in Germany and I need to travel and watch the game live, but couldn’t afford that much to reach there and watch the game. Then sudden one of my uncles gifted me air ticket and booking of the foot ball match which I was unable to believe. I was totally surprised how this got possible and I am getting the chance to visit that place. Everything got sorted only the thing which was left was choosing the car hires. I started surfing through internet and got list of popular car hires that are doing good job like car hire 3000, Thrifty, Argus car hire, holiday auto, SIXT, and Car Del Mar. from which we choose this car hire called location voiture maroc that was doing fantastic job in France and other parts of the globe. I got to know about this car hires through this link called http://www.locature.fr/. As I opened the website I got to know details about how they work their packages and service they provide, which were quite admiring when comparing to other car hires.

The day came to start the journey and I travelled and landed at the airport and to my surprise I saw the car hires waiting for me with all my details and tariff in hand. I then reached the hotel and in the evening went to watch the foot ball match, which was really amazing interesting watching live and I could see my favorite foot ball players live. It was quite an admiring and exciting moment for me.
All my journey was well planned and organized that helped me a lot in visiting the places as I preferred.

Romance and the tropical sun is what Jamaica is popular for. Soft sands on the beach and lush greenery mark the coasts of this Caribbean island. The long seacoast borders the mountainous interiors. Places such as Negril are famous for their beaches and Blue Mountain for its high mountains and waterfalls. Cruises are a wonderful way of touring all of Jamaica as it is an island nation, and most of the major cities are located on the coast.

Cruise trips can be organized for as few as three days or even three months, depending on the time the travelers want to spend at sea. Cruise charges are inclusive of meals and facilities on board. Restaurants, libraries, and fitness centers are also available on ships. Evenings are for social gatherings that include, dining or dancing in the discotheque onboard cruise ships.

Experienced travelers prefer destination focused cruise trips. For instance cruises that are visiting the port of Negril, plan their programs so that travelers enjoy the beautiful seaside and also the luxury of stately service on the deck. Such cruises combine sightseeing at these ports as part of their schedule.

The accommodation on cruise ships varies from upper-class suites to economy rooms. Tariffs for the former type are higher as most of these suites have a private deck. The economy rooms though are smaller and comfortable for people with a lower budget. There are some seasons when discounts are offered, as there is lesser crowd during this time. Christmas time is a bit expensive, as families tend to go for vacations during this time.

Cruise vacations are perfect for relaxing. If a person does not want to participate in the onboard activities, it is possible for the person to enjoy the sea breeze, and relax on the lounge chair on one of its decks. Families can enjoy their vacation as there is entertainment fitting all age groups. Couples on a honeymoon find cruises an ideal option, as they are provided champagne and meals in their rooms. Cruises are currently considered floating resorts with all facilities on board.
